Holding Yourself in Your Journey
We look at other people and how amazing they are, at something they’ve worked on for years and years. We see ourselves as less than, but we don’t see what it took for them to get there. It wasn’t always easy. Very easily, we fall into the trap of thinking: “I can never do it.” or “I could do it even better.” But the truth is, we’re not actually doing it. If we are drawn to something, it’s probably meant for us. But then comes the question: Are we willing to hold ourselves in growth and evolution? It may look messy at the beginning. It may be all over the place. It may take time until we find our path. And it doesn’t even have to be a fixed path, because we are constantly evolving and changing. The thought that it must be a fixed path, one we already know, makes it more difficult. Let’s just go, and we’ll grow our way into who we are meant to be. But can we hold ourselves in the learning?
